Olivia’s role as Head of Catastrophe Products is to make sure that Fathom’s Global Flood Catastrophe model is brought to market with the highest possible functionality. Working closely with the commercial function, she also liaises with developers, the customer success team and the science teams to ensure that the model meets the needs of customers and is a market-leading product.
This is the second time she has worked at Fathom, having spent a year in a sales role previously. After gaining an MSc in geology at Imperial College, Olivia first worked in the oil and gas industry before moving into the insurance industry. She has worked at several re/insurance companies including TransRe, AXA XL and Gallagher Re, and brings seven years of cat modeling experience to her role.
Outside of work, Olivia takes every opportunity to get outdoors for cycling, running, swimming and walking the dog.
