Using data taken from Fathom’s US Flood Map, we are able to see the city of St Louis, Missouri with a simulated view of a 1in1000 fluvial (riverine) flood and an undefended view of risk (one of the greatest possible extents of a flood). Purple colors show areas of permanent water, light blue shows shallow water increasing to dark blue and deep pink for deep water areas.
