Fathom is much more than a flood modelling company. We are a team of academics, scientists, creators, coders and communicators - all working towards the same goal.

Since being founded by two PhD students in 2012, we have built a legacy for Fathom driven by pioneering science and academia.

Technical Sales Consultant 


Reporting to: Commercial Director 
Salary: Competitive Salary + Bonus 
Location: Home based - South East (commutable to London & Bristol)  

For our next level of growth, we are looking for an experienced technical sales consultant to join our expanding sales team supporting the sales cycle by providing technical support to existing and prospective customers and partners. This is a new and exciting role for someone who is passionate about client success, a true self starter who is seeking to use their GIS or cat modelling skills to become a trusted advisor to our clients and partners and ensure they are getting the most value out of our data products and services. The successful candidate must have prior previous experience in a similar role within the Insurance, GIS and technical consultancy.

Head of Talent Acquisition

As part of the expansion of our business, Fathom are seeking an experienced Head of Talent Acquisition to join our team who can design and create strategies that will help us attract and hire the best talent for our expanding team. This is a new and exciting role for someone who is passionate about the candidate experience, demonstrable, hands on experience scaling a business quickly and successfully whilst attracting a high NPS score. A true self starter, you will have experience building an employer brand to create strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Senior Business Development Manager - Insurance

Reporting to: Commercial Director 
Salary: Competitive Salary + Bonus 
Location: Home-based - South East (commutable to London & Bristol)  

We are looking for an experienced insurance sales leader to join our expanding sales team to lead the revenue growth with new and existing insurance clients in the Lloyd’s and domestic UK markets, the US, Europe and SE Asia. This is a new and exciting role for someone who wants to join the early stage of a business that has ambitious growth plans and to put their stamp on that business’ expansion by leading and growing the insurance team for development across the sector globally.  The successful candidate must have experience within the insurance, GIS and risk industries.  

Fathom is a fast-growing business whose vision is to become the world leader in the provision of water risk intelligence. Currently based in Bristol with a global client base it is looking to appoint an individual to lead its sales growth in the global insurance market to work closely with our direct customers and partners to drive the revenue and adoption of Fathom data products and services.  

The role is permanent, full time with the offer of home working. There is a requirement of being in London around 2/3 days a week. With travel to Bristol weekly during induction and when required. Temporarily we are working 100% remotely during the pandemic.
